Who We Are
At Active Paws Physio we believe that every animal deserves to feel comfortable and full of life. The business is led by Natasha Barnes, a qualified and experienced veterinary physiotherapist and registered veterinary nurse who is approved by the Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners (RAMP) and holds an advanced diploma in small‑animal physiotherapy.
Natasha combines clinical expertise with compassion, creating a nurturing environment for dogs and other small pets. Whether your companion is an arthritic senior, a canine athlete recovering from surgery or a puppy in need of fitness coaching, you will always receive a friendly and professional service.
Our practice is based in Hemel Hempstead and we serve clients across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire. Home visits are available for pets that cannot travel comfortably.
We work closely with your vet to ensure all treatments are safe and effective.
More Reviews
“Post-op IVDD is scary. The step-by-step neuro rehab plan (paw placement, surfaces, short goals) gave us confidence. Weekly tele-check kept us on track. We went from assisted standing to steady indoor walking in a month."
Poppy, Hemel Hempstead
"Our agility dog was losing speed on turns. The performance screen spotted a small asymmetry, then conditioning drills fixed it. Back competing—clean runs and no soreness next day."
Novia, Harpenden
"I highly recommend Natasha and Active Paws Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation to anyone with a dog who's struggling with movement. Always kind, always professional, Natasha has the biggest heart and will do her utmost to help.”
